2008 August > Optimist Club of Milton Dodge Rodeo Tour

The Dodge Rodeo Tour stopped in Milton for a couple of days at Country Heritage Park. This event, sponsored by the Optimist Club of Milton, was a fun filled, action packed couple of days! There was bull riding, bucking horses, barrel racing, cowboys, vendors, tractor drawn wagon rides and a cowboy scavenger hunt. It was really great fun for little buckaroos. The Optimist Club of Milton is a local service club whose motto is “Friend of Youth”. Their goal is to conduct positive service projects primarily aimed at providing a helping hand to youth, but at the same time, helping other areas of the community that need special assistance. Fundraising is key to their many projects, and this weekend went a long way in allowing them to remain involved in the projects they feel make a difference to the community of Milton.
