2008 August > Summer Concert Series

The Milton Concert Band with special guests The Milton Choristers put on a free concert featuring favourites from Disco to Motown in Victoria Park recently. People brought their chairs, blankets and some even set up a little picnic for themselves as they enjoyed the music in the great outdoors. Mayor Krantz attended the Concert in the Park and was featured as a "Guest Conductor" for one of the pieces performed that evening. The other pieces were conducted by Sonja Van de Hoef (Artistic Director) who did a great job showcasing her unique style and energy. Keep your eye out for more free concerts coming up. Bring your chairs and come out and enjoy some great music and meet new friends!
