Spirit Day Assembly at W.I.Dick Public School
The W.I.Dick boys' volleyball team, winners of the North Halton and Halton Tier 2 Volleyball Championship, were honoured with certificates of achievement from Mayor Gord Krantz and world record-holding former professional wrestlers and Milton Walk of Fame members Tiger Jeet Singh and his son, Tiger Ali Singh, at the Spirit Day Assembly held at the school. The school’s Spirit Squad cheerleaders who demonstrated their athletic skills cheered the boys on. The school also boasts award winning concert and jazz bands and the concert band played a rousing march followed by "In The Eye Of The Storm" written by local composer Ryan Meeboer and conducted by their teacher Paul Mouradian. Congratulations to all involved!
